    Function and Use

    A hose crimping machine crimps metal fittings tightly onto high-pressure hoses using hydraulic machinery and corresponding dies, creating high-pressure hose assemblies and fluid connectors, referred to as high-pressure hose assemblies. This equipment is not only suitable for crimping high-pressure hose assemblies in mechanical engineering but can also crimp two-way elbows, extra-large elbows, and special-shaped heads. High-pressure hose assemblies are widely used in oil fields, coal mines, aerospace, engineering machinery, agricultural machinery, and other industries.

    Working Principle

    The working principle of a hose crimping machine is as follows: Driven by a motor, the hydraulic pump outputs hydraulic oil to push the plunger in the clamping cylinder forward. The plunger and two inner conical sleeves on the front cylinder cover push the base with symmetrical conical surfaces of the die to radially contract, achieving crimping of the module on the hose. When the contraction amount reaches the set scale value, the crimping automatically stops. After the electromagnetic directional valve changes direction, the hydraulic oil enters the two mold-opening cylinders, pushing the crimping plunger to move in reverse, and the mold base, under the action of the spring, drives the module to recover.

    Specifically, the crimping mechanism is the working mechanism of the hose crimping machine. The crimping sleeve reciprocates under the drive of the cylinder piston, continuously compressing and releasing the spring pressure head fixed on the front plate. Place the assembled fitting in the appropriate position in the center hole of the spring pressure head. Start the motor, drive the oil pump to supply oil, control the direction of the electromagnetic directional valve, and drive the cylinder piston forward. Through the pressure sleeve with the inner conical hole, the spring pressure head is tightened with the same taper to achieve the tightening purpose. Press the mold-opening button, and the piston drives the crimping sleeve to move in the opposite direction, and the spring pressure head recovers. At this time, the hose fitting can be removed from the crimping machine.

    Important Parameters and Classification

    When selecting a hose crimping machine, important reference parameters include: hose size (usually referring to the inner diameter of the hose), hose material (woven or wrapped), and crimping pressure requirements.

    The most commonly used classification method for hose crimping machines is by technical type, mainly divided into hydraulic hose crimping machines and CNC hose crimping machines. In addition, there is currently no national standard for hose crimping machines, but the relevant national standards for hydraulic hose fittings are GB/T 9065.1~9065.3-1988, which specify the connection dimensions of hydraulic hose fittings, including flared, crimped, welded, or quick-change types.
