Hose Fittings
1. Definition:
Hose fittings are components used in hydraulic systems to connect high-pressure oil pipes to each other, and can also connect other fluid transmission pipes.
2. Classification:
According to shape and function, hose fittings can be divided into various types, such as hydraulic hoses, high-pressure ball valves, quick connectors, crimped fittings, welded fittings, high-pressure hoses, transition fittings, three-way fittings, non-standard fittings, flared fittings, right-angle fittings, etc.
According to the sealing method, hose fittings can be divided into A-plane, crimped, concave, convex, external thread, flange, British tapered round head, 24-degree cone seal, etc.
3. Material:
The main materials of hose fittings include carbon steel and stainless steel (such as 201, 304, 316, 316L), among which carbon steel is generally galvanized with color zinc or white zinc.
4. Precautions for Use:
During installation and use, avoid excessive bending of the hose or bending at the root. Bending should begin at least 1.5 times its diameter.
When the hose moves to an extreme position, it should not be pulled too tight and should maintain a certain degree of slack.
Avoid twisting deformation of the hose as much as possible, keep it away from heat-radiating components, and prevent external damage.
Crimp Fittings
1. Definition:
A crimp fitting is a fitting that achieves connection through crimping, mainly used for connecting high-pressure oil pipes in hydraulic systems.
2. Classification:
According to structure and use, crimp fittings can be divided into various types, such as F-type flange fittings, 90° SAE light flange crimp hose fittings, crimp hose fittings (straight and bent), high-pressure oil pipe crimp sleeves, etc.
3. Material:
The main materials of crimp fittings also include carbon steel and stainless steel, with stainless steel offering better corrosion resistance and strength.
4. Usage Characteristics:
Crimp fittings achieve tight connections through crimping, with high sealing performance and pressure resistance.
Easy to install, crimping can be performed using special tools.
